The 103sq m store positions Lululemon as a must-visit shopping destination for globetrotting fitness and fashion-lovers.
Athletic apparel brand Lululemon has today (4 July) opened its first European airport retail door at Heathrow to coincide with the summer travel season.
The 103sq m metre unit appealing to global fitness and fashion enthusiasts is situated in Terminal 5.
Heathrow passengers can access Lululemon’s recognisable leggings, yoga gear, travel-friendly layers and more, with Heathrow Rewards members able to receive double points when they spend £100 or more in the new store.
Fraser Brown, Retail Director, Heathrow said: “We are thrilled to welcome lululemon to Heathrow, their first airport store in Europe. As we strive to make every journey better, the launch of lululemon in Terminal 5 will give passengers the opportunity to enjoy their travel experience with added comfort and style. Lululemon has amassed a cult following for good reason, and we are excited to welcome such an iconic activewear brand to Heathrow.”
The Vancouver-headquartered label known for its yoga pants, lifestyle garments and footwear and accessories plays firmly into the activewear trend, which Heathrow says ‘is here for the long-haul’.
Lululemon’s entry into European airport retail expands its strategic presence in the channel.
Having opened its first North American airport store at Vancouver International Airport in 2021, the brand counts outposts at the likes of Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 and Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1.
The company’s net revenue increased 7% to $2.4 billion in the first quarter of 2025 with international revenue growth at +19%, according to its Q1 fiscal 2025 results released on 5 June.
