Jonathan Rayner has steered ‘transformational passenger growth and digital innovation’ at Edinburgh Airport.
Jonathan Rayner has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer at London Luton Airport (LLA), the operator has announced.
Rayner moves into the post vacated by Jonathan Pollard, who has taken up a new role at London Gatwick Airport.
Currently Aviation and Digital Director at Edinburgh Airport, Rayner has held commercial leadership positions at a number of UK airports.
He arrives at LLA as it negotiates a critical period; despite pax volumes being 74% down in July year-on-year, the airport is leading a strong recovery effort for UK aviation.
Alberto Martin, CEO of LLA said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Jonathan to the LLA family. His experience across the aviation industry will be invaluable as we look to the future and focus on building a business which will continue to play an important role in the economic recovery of the UK and the local area.”
Rayner added: “I’m delighted to be joining London Luton Airport at such a critical time for the aviation industry. LLA has shown strong signs of recovery so far, and I look forward to ensuring the airport continues to thrive in the wake of Covid-19.”
