The brand has only recently entered the travel retail industry, but is already planning to open various points of sales in a number of key airports.
“This is why a global showcase like Cannes is ideal not only for unveiling new products, but also as it is a very special setting in which to meet and consolidate relations with potential new partners,” says Mandarina Duck.
At the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, Mandarina Duck will be presenting seven new lines, which include two Leisure lines with men and women’s bags and accessories.
BUSINESS TRAVEL
The remaining five lines, are business travel specific accompanied with a comprehensive range of accessories including; mobile phone holders , backpacks and laptop and tablet sleeves.
The ‘Nomad, eco-leather all style – no limits’ line will also be showcased in Cannes. Nomad offers backpacks and shoulder bags with a range of volumes.
“The collections we are presenting reflect our desire to satisfy the demands of style and design conscious consumers from different parts of the world in a sector like travel retail that is rapidly expanding and has huge growth prospects,” says Michele Lorusso, the Mandarina Duck Sales Director.
“This is why it is extremely important for Mandarina Duck to be able to count on an internal team of designers who know how to transform the brand’s DNA into products that are always new and specifically designed for people who travel for either work or pleasure.
“Our goal for 2013 is to grow and reinforce our position in this sector at an international level. Over the next twelve months we will be focusing our activities on Europe (especially Italy and Germany), and Asia and Greater China, all regions where we are expecting two-figure growth rates.”
