Chris Dunham-Haigh brings nearly two decades’ experience to ARI. Previously, he held the General Manager post at M&S Halifax where he led a team of 130 colleagues and oversaw a full store refit.

Aer Rianta International (ARI) has appointed Chris Dunham-Haigh as General Manager of its Montenegro Duty Free operations, effective January 2024.

Dunham-Haigh joins the travel retailer from Marks & Spencer in the UK, where he has worked for the past 18 years.

His CV includes a number of retail leadership roles in locations across the country.

Dunham-Haigh commented: “It’s an absolute privilege to have joined ARI and the team at Montenegro Duty Free. I am very excited to learn more about the business and to immerse myself in our operations here as we focus on new innovations and opportunities for the future.”

ARI won a five-year contract to run DF&TR concessions at Tivat and Podgorica Airports in Montenegro in 2019, as first reported by TRBusiness.

Two shops operating under the Montenegro Duty Free fascia began trading in 2020.
