Halloween Perfumes is an established brand in PYD’s key markets.

Perfumes y Diseño (PYD) has achieved sales of EUR€92 million (around US$ 97,958 million) in 2022, marking the best result in the history of the company.

The Spain born luxury perfumery and cosmetics business, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, reports that sales grew by more than 42% compared to 2021.

Under the leadership of Pedro Trolez, the result builds on the successes registered in previous years.

Looking at the results in more detail, all of the company’s brands registered strong growth of over 40% in 2022, says PYD.

The company pinpoints Tous Perfumes and Halloween Perfumes as key contributors, having established themselves in the key markets in which PYD operates.

Three brands that have more recently been consolidated in the portfolio – El Ganso Perfumes, Scalpers Perfumes and Nightology – are also playing a part in the company’s success.

Moving forward, PYD has launched a key strategy to reinforce the main pillars that drive its business as follows: the people in the organisation; its partners as ‘a key asset, showing closeness and adaptability; and finally the ‘high-quality perfumes created’.

The company is also busy implementing its Sustainability Master Plan, the first phase of which closes this year.

Today, PYD’s roster of owned perfume brands includes: Tous Perfumes, Halloween Perfumes, El Ganso Perfumes, Scalpers Perfumes, Starck Paris and Nightology.

The company also distriburtes other perfume and cosmetic brands in a variety of markets, including Goutal Paris, Juliette Has a Gun, Moschino, Missoni, Versace, Cartier and Ahava, among others.

A family business, PYD became part of ADEFAM (Madrid Family Business Association) in 2019 and joined the CRE100DO Foundation in 2021.
