Starboard Cruise Services’ Luxury Division has released a first look at its upcoming The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, an integrated luxury retail experience which includes a collection of first-at-sea brands.
The experience is inspired by the luxury resorts of The Ritz-Carlton, the yachting lifestyle and the Mediterranean and will debut onboard superyacht Evrima in late summer.
“The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection collaboration represents a milestone for our Luxury Division,” said Lisa Bauer, President and CEO of Starboard Cruise Services.
“Guided by newness and destination brands, we have curated an exclusive retail concept representing the relaxed luxury of the yachting lifestyle while capturing the destinations’ essence.”
The boutique presents passengers with Starboard Luxury Division’s edit of best-in-class international brands across women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections, accessories, footwear, and its ‘elevated logo collection’.
Among the first-at-sea brands included in the concept are Onia swimwear and resortwear, as well as artisanal fragrances from Fragonard – both of which serve as category leaders.
“Our yacht experience sets a new standard for luxury at sea, redefining travel for guests seeking to discover the world in a relaxed, casually elegant way,” says Douglas Prothero, CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
He said the collection, which places destination discovery and storytelling at the heart of its offering, will provide guests with ‘an elevated retail experience at sea’.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection inaugural line also features exclusive branded apparel, homewares and luxury travel essentials.
This is in addition to luxury skincare and beauty from 111SKIN, one-of-a-kind jewellery from the Evrima Signature Collection (designed and manufactured by sustainable 64 Facets), and sought-after destination labels such as Italian brand La DoubleJ, fine jewellery from Athens based designer Ileana Makri, and K. Jacques Saint Tropez strappy leather sandals.
Each of the brands and products available have been specially curated to be used or worn on the voyage and then enjoyed back at home.
The collection will be refreshed with merchandise sourced from ports visited throughout the year.
Mark Lockwood, Senior Vice President, Cruise Hotel Operations of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection described the venture as ‘a very natural fit’.
Miami headquartered Starboard Cruise Services, part of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, manages retail operations for eight cruise line partners including Azamara, Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruises, Holland America, Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International and Silversea.
