Stefan Schulte to succeed Wilhelm Bender

Fraport AG's supervisory board has appointed Dr. Stefan Schulte (age 48) on a five-year term as the company's new Executive Board Chairman (CEO) to succeed Dr. Wilhelm Bender from September 1, 2009.
Schulte takes over from Bender who is retiring in early August when he reaches the age of 65. Bender has spent more than 16 years at the helm of the Fraport airport company.
At the same time, Peter Schmitz (age 58) has also been elected to the Executive Board. He is currently Fraport's Senior Executive Vice President for ground services.
