McG Consultants and Simon Harrison are eyeing healthy sales from the pop-up during the festive period.
British luxury brand Ted Baker is enjoying prime exposure to travellers at London Gatwick Airport’s North Terminal via a new pop-up shop.
Positioned outside Dufry’s Collection store and running for one month, the pop-up showcases the brand’s new jewellery collection as part of an exclusive collection of travel must-haves.
Long-standing licence partner Simon Harrison has partnered with McG Consultants, the brand’s exclusive agent in travel retail, to bring the pop-up to life.
It features a bespoke design in addition to a floor stand and signature branded cabinets.
Customers to the stand will be treated to an additional surprise in the form of a GWP bag, which includes a Ted Baker body wash and nail varnish.
Richard McGratty, Managing Director at McG Consultants said: “The retail theatre offered by Ted Baker with the impactful lighting, the floor stand’s self-purchase feature and GWP bags ensure that this activation cannot be missed.
Leila Chouk, Global Category Manager for Watches and Jewellery at Dufry added: “We are delighted to partner with Ted Baker on this exciting pop-up which we are sure will be extremely popular with customers.
“The exclusive jewellery collection is really different and as usual there has been great attention to detail and the unmistakable touch of Ted Baker – it’s particularly appropriate for gifting.
“We would like to thank McG for their support and look forward to strengthening our collaboration with them on further developments.”
