Thomas Cook’s Airshoppen signs inflight deal with Novair

Novair_ThomasCookdealAirshoppen Travel Retail will deliver tax free sales onboard Swedish carrier Novair after agreeing a three-year contract.

The deal also covers pre-order duty free and buy-on-board F&B sales.

Customers of Novair – the sister company of tour operator Apollo Rejser – can browse from more than 1,200 items in the duty free catalogue.

Anders Fred, Managing Director, Novair said: “We look forward to a strong and long-term cooperation with Airshoppen Travel Retail, which offers a strong concept for Apollo’s customers who travel with Novair.

“Our main focus is our guests and we are very pleased to offer them the best airshop on the market.”

Developed in the early 1980s, Airshoppen Travel Retail has grown its pre-order into a market-leading service.

Novair will offer Apollo Group’s customers an assortment of brands adapted to their needs through Airshoppen.

Airshoppen Travel Retail provides a complete e-commerce solution, together with direct marketing, customer service, inventory management and consulting.

Lars Bording, Director, Airshoppen Travel Retail added: “We have been servicing our own customers for decades and we now want to expand in the B2B market.

“We have a strong concept in both our pre-order business and in on-board sales. We have invested in online sales and direct marketing and are now well placed to work with new customers.

“Atlantic Airways came aboard in 2017, Novair will be joining on May 1, 2019 and I would welcome other airlines and tour operators to find out more about our concepts.”
