Ultramarine wins contract

The Ultramarine Partnership Ltd has won a three-year contract with leading Spanish charter airline Iberworld Airlines to manage and produce the airline's inflight magazine IBERWINGS as well as its 'Buy Onboard' menu which is available
on all short-haul routes.
The company says that contract begins in May 2009 with IBERWINGS to be offered in three versions to accommodate specific routes (Portuguese, Scandinavian and Spanish/English). The magazine includes a 50-page-plus dedicated retail section, along with lifestyle and general interest sections.
In support of the inflight retail section, Ultramarine will work closely with Gebr. Heinemann, Iberworld's in-flight retail concessionaire.
As part of this new arrangement, Ultramarine is also introducing its Travel Retail Integrated Promotions (TRIP) concept, which seeks to identify new revenue streams with tailored marketing campaigns. The company said that the end result is increased brand awareness and sales and overall added value to the customer's journey.

Juan Jose Salgueiro Blasco, Iberworld Airlines, Passenger Services Manager said: ‘Ultramarine's competence in producing inflight publications across editorial and inflight retail is well known. In addition, their willingness and approach to identify and deliver new revenue initiatives, such as TRIP, appealed to our business strategy. We regard Ultramarine as long-term partners rather than as a service provider.’
