Tailored luxury brand Windsor inaugurated its first airport boutique yesterday (14 July) at Munich Airport’s (MUC) Terminal 2.

Located in the Schengen departures area of the terminal (level 4), the 60sq m store offers exclusive designer clothing for males and females and is operated by MUC retailing subsidiary Eurotrade.

To mark the opening of the new boutique, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted by senior management at Windsor, MUC and Eurotrade.

Jan-Henrik Andersson, Chief Commercial Officer & Chief Security Officer at MUC said: “We are very pleased that, with Windsor, we have gained one of the premium brands of the Holy Fashion Group for our airport.

“With its exclusive range of products, the attractive Windsor boutique is a perfect match for the quality passengers expect from Munich Airport as a five-star airport.”

Jan Mangold, Managing Brand Director, Windsor, said: “Windsor has continuously expanded its international presence in recent years. And Munich is our second home, so to speak.

First step into travel retail

“Therefore, the store at Munich Airport is the perfect combination of both and marks our first step into travel retail. I am looking forward to presenting our collections to the residents of Munich and to international travellers together with Eurotrade.”

Windsor has opened its first airport boutique at Munich Airport Terminal 2.

The Windsor outlet is open daily 06:00 am to 09:00 pm.

Sven Zahn, Managing Director, Eurotrade added: “The Schengen area of Terminal 2 is an excellent location for the Windsor store at our airport, because guests from all over Europe come together here.”

Windsor is a Switzerland-headquartered fashion and apparel firm, part of the Holy Fashion Group.
