Woodford Reserve has today launched a sensory pop-up at Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris designed to introduce consumers to the flavours of the American whiskey through a series of tasting experiences, including a specially crafted cocktail menu.

The pop-up lounge, located in Terminal 2E at Gate M, runs from 31 August to 26 September and is open daily from 7am to 4pm.

“This unique sensory lounge will bring the flavours of Woodford Reserve to all those travelling through Charles De Gaulle Airport,” said Chris Morris, Master Distiller at Woodford Reserve.

“It’s an interactive way to introduce consumers to Woodford Reserve with a Parisian twist, elevating the travel shopping experience to new levels.”

The pop-up features a custom farm-to-bar cocktail menu in partnership with the famous Paris cocktail bar, Little Red Door.

Visitors can sip Woodford Reserve cocktails as well as alcohol-free creations inspired by the 200 flavours that feature in the Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

With sustainability in mind, the cocktails will be served in keepsake Govino glasses in order to cut down on waste.

Another great taste experience is provided courtesy of La Maison du Chocolat of Paris, which has crafted a special bonbon to pair with the Woodford Reserve.

The portfolio tastings will be switched up daily and will occasionally include high-end limited releases, such as the Master’s Collection and Baccarat Edition (a cognac-finished bourbon).

For those who want to take a piece of the experience home with them, there is a range available to buy, including the Bourbon, Malt, Double Oaked, Five-Malt Stouted Mash, Batch Proof 128.3, and Baccarat Edition.

This in in addition to an exclusive bottle of Woodford Reserve Bourbon featuring a “From Paris With Love” design.

Consumers can also take advantage of the customisable gift tags to add to their bottles.
