World Duty Free creates a Wonderful World at London Gatwick Airport

In partnership with London Gatwick, World Duty Free has launched its “Wonderful World” Summer 2023 campaign. The initiative, which is running from June to October, incorporates both North and South terminals at the location.
Inspired by the natural world, the campaign has introduced areas of calm and tranquillity into the World Duty Free store, and other parts of the airport.
Key elements include nature-inspired sounds such as splashing waterfalls, giant butterflies and other Instagram-friendly visuals, including botanicals in full bloom and wild animals.
Dufry UK Commercial Director Eve Fifer commented: “We’re delighted to be able to stage this Wonderful World Summer campaign, working in close partnership with the team at London Gatwick.
“By engaging customers with memorable experiences, as well as helping to make their travels happier and less stressful, we’re confident that this year’s inspiring and imaginative campaign will surprise and delight travellers, whilst helping to drive store footfall and dwell time.”

London Gatwick Head of Retail Nick Williams added: “We are delighted to see the Wonderful World campaign brought to life this summer, providing passengers with a memorable and shareable experience at London Gatwick.
“The World Duty Free store looks fantastic and will certainly catch the eye and imagination with its vibrant colour and interactive areas. We also have great deals across the airport, a bespoke Silent Pool gin available in World Duty Free, and summer treats in our restaurants, so passengers can get their holidays off to the best possible start.”
