Senior officials from Dufry Group and Norwich Airport yesterday celebrated the official launch of the travel retailer’s new World Duty Free store.

Dufry signed a 12-year contract to manage the tax and duty free walkthrough store earlier this year. It started trading in June and covers more than 200sq m.

The new store feeds into a wider redevelopment programme at the terminal, with further enhancements to the airside retail and F&B offer expected in the coming months.

Owned and operated by Regional & City Airports (RCA), Norwich more than 500,000 passengers per year and serves as the principle gateway to and from East Anglia in the UK.

RCA, part of Rigby Group PLC, also owns and operates Coventry, Exeter and Bournemouth Airports.
