New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is now home to the new La Collection Privée by Christian Dior fragrance pop-up store.

Travellers can encounter a range of ultra-premium perfumes, candles and soaps as part of a collaboration between the brand, the airport and Delhi Duty Free Services (DDFS), which the travel retailer reports is a ‘first’ for the Indian sub-continent.

Described as ‘steeped in an elegantly Parisian ambience’, La Collection Privée offers a window into the world’s perfume capital of Grasse thanks to a wall of imagery depicting Dior’s famed Château de La Colle Noire and the flower fields.

Delhi Duty Free CEO Ashish Chopra said: “As we welcome La Collection Privée Christian Dior to Delhi Duty Free, we are not just opening a new shop-in-shop; we are unveiling a world of elegance and luxury.

“This marks another milestone in our commitment to providing travellers seeking luxury with an exceptional shopping experience.

“La Collection Privée Christian Dior, with its timeless charm, perfectly complements our mission to offer the best to our valued customers. We invite you to explore this splendid addition and immerse yourself in the allure of La Collection Privée Christian Dior at Delhi Duty Free. Your journey begins here.”

Guests to La Collection Privée by Christian Dior pop-up can discover 22 fragrances, from classics to new entrants, together with an eye-catching fragrance bar

Dior Travel Retail General Manager Middle East Africa and Indian Subcontinent Ingrid Pineau added: “We are very pleased to open La Collection Privée in partnership with Delhi Duty Free and Delhi Airport.

“We nourish a long-term relationship together and we strongly believe that Delhi International Airport is the ideal fit for La Collection Privée.”
