Kreol TR launches BMB’s Petit Gourmet ‘Dubai Chocolate’ in Cochin Duty Free
By Trbusiness Editor |
Distributor Kreol Travel Retail has introduced BMB’s Petit Gourmet Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate at Cochin Duty Free, reinforcing its commitment to bringing distinctive, high-quality products to the global travel retail marketplace.
The launch was supported by an activation featuring a jumbo sized chocolate bar replica, a photo frame and golden palm trees, designed to pay homage to the product’s Dubai origins.
Crafted in Dubai, BMB’s Kunafa Chocolate is described as a modern reinterpretation of the Middle East’s signature kunafa dessert. It features an ultra-crunchy centre, layered with premium pistachio, and enveloped in smooth milk chocolate.
BMB is part of Agthia Group, one of the region’s most prominent and diversified food and beverage companies. With a strong presence across the Middle East, Agthia’s portfolio spans leading brands within snacking, water, beverages, and food essentials.
Petit Gourmet Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate is available in two formats: a 195g bar for snacking, and a 470g pack ideal for gifting, souvenir purchases and sharing. The latter has been created specifically for travel retail environments.
Kreol praises Kunafa Chocolate performance
Kreol Group CEO Lal Arakulath commented: “Our partnership with BMB continues to grow as we introduce innovative, high-quality products to travellers across the region.
“Kunafa Chocolate has performed exceptionally well in multiple markets, and its debut at Cochin Duty Free aligns perfectly with our mission to offer travellers something unique, memorable and culturally rich.”
Kreol Group Executive Director Kreol Arakulath added: “We are confident this launch will be warmly received by both Indian consumers and international passengers. What makes us different is the family-size spin on the viral pistachio chocolate trend, so we’ve designed our activation to communicate the large, chunky size of this bar.”
Cochin International Airport Managing Director S Suhas IAS noted: “Cochin Duty Free has always aimed to offer travellers a curated selection of global products that enhance their journey through our airport.
“The introduction of BMB’s chocolate adds a distinctive Middle Eastern flavour to our retail mix and strengthens our commitment to delivering fresh, high‑quality offerings. We welcome this collaboration and look forward to seeing strong passenger engagement with this product”.
“We are thrilled to see Kunafa Chocolate reach Indian travellers through Cochin Duty Free,” commented Agthia Group Director of Marketing, Snacking Evgenia Papageorgiou.
“This launch is a meaningful step in our international travel retail journey; India is a priority market, and we couldn’t ask for a better partner than Kreol to bring this product to life. Kunafa Chocolate was built to travel: it carries the soul of a beloved Middle Eastern tradition in a format that speaks to consumers everywhere.”
