Kreol TR taps demand for Japanese spirits with Yoshino Spirits signing

Kreol Travel Retail has forged an alliance with premium alcoholic beverage firm Yoshino Spirits, becoming its travel retail distribution partner for India.
Osaka-headquartered Yoshino Spirits possesses an export portfolio containing the likes of Kamiki Whisky, Umiki Whisky, Minoki Rum, Helios Distillery Brands, Katashimo Winery Brands, Kawashima Sake Brewery brands and Kishi-Kumano Distillery brands.
The Japanese craft spirits exporter’s products are available in domestic markets across more than 90 countries and can be found in major international duty free shops with operators including Gebr. Heinemann, Lotte Duty Free, Aer Rianta International, Dubai Duty Free and Ever Rich Duty Free.
Lal Arakulath, CEO, Kreol Group spoke of his happiness at Kreol Travel Retail’s appointment as travel retail distributor for India, adding: “Japanese brands are much sought-after in duty free shops across the world. As India is a prominent whisky market, consumers have expanded their tastes beyond American and British products.

As reported, Kreol Travel inked a distribution agreement with Unilever in selected markets.
