Lindt & Sprüngli Global Travel Retail has extended its Lindor Diwali ‘Gift of Bliss’ activations to eight airport locations across the Middle East and India.
The 2023 initiative builds on the success of last year’s campaign, which incorporated activations at Delhi Indira Gandhi International and Dubai International airports.
This year Lindt & Sprüngli aims to capitalise on Diwali gifting opportunities with targeted Lindor promotions at Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport, Bangalore Kempegowda International Airport, Cochin International, Muscat International, Hamad International and Dubai International Airport.
Lindt maximises Lindor gifting
Activations running throughout November will spotlight two of the most popular items within Lindt & Sprüngli’s travel retail portfolio: the 400g Milk and Assorted Lindor Tubes.
To further encourage gifting and trade up, the confectionery brand has created a special Trio Bag featuring three different Lindor flavoured tubes that have been developed specifically for Diwali.
The promotions – and the compelling gifting offer – are expected to drive strong double-digit growth in all locations, especially Qatar, Mumbai and Bangalore.
Lindt & Sprüngli Head of Global Travel Retail Peter Zehnder commented: “The increased Diwali activity this year underlines our goal to offer travellers a compelling offer during important gifting occasions throughout the year.
“Our luxurious Lindor brand is hugely popular among Indian consumers and with these additional promotions we have brought the ‘Gift of Bliss’ to an even greater number of consumers at this joyous time.”
