The TRBusiness and m1nd-set organised 2022 Global Travel Retail Awards ceremony illuminated Cannes last week, with the winners taking to the stage to accept their accolades – as voted for by consumers.
The ceremony took place on the evening of Monday 3 October at Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes, during the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference.
Attendees enjoyed a Champagne reception, three-course premium dinner and afterparty featuring the live band Brightlights to celebrate the 25th anniversary of TRBusiness.
“It was wonderful to experience the sincere joy and elation felt by all the winners, as they stepped up to the stage to collect their awards,” said Michael Barrett, Head of Events and Corporate Social Responsibility, TRBusiness.
“Many have messaged or told us in person how thrilled they were, stating they were all the more delighted with the fact that this is an award direct from the consumers.
“Retailers are expressing an interest too, we have been told, so we are truly delighted for all the winners, that their award will really serve a genuine purpose.”
Below, we showcase a selection of photographs of the evening, from the triumphant moments on the stage to the sparkling social elements.
