Aerin Lauder, granddaughter of Estée Lauder, founder of the business that would become Estée Lauder Companies, has evolved her role to become Style & Design Director at Estée Lauder luxury franchise, Re-Nutriv.
In her new position, Lauder will inform the Re-Nutriv look and feel, while overseeing its expression across all touch points, including advertising, events and packaging design.
Additional responsibilities include spearheading product collaborations. A recent example, and a first for Re-Nutriv, was with artisanal wallpaper brand Gracie Studio, a product favoured by Estée Lauder herself.
In addition to her work as part of Estée Lauder Companies, Lauder is also the Founder and Creative Director of her own luxury lifestyle and beauty brand, Aerin.
“My grandmother, Estée, originally launched luxury skincare in 1956, making Re-Nutriv the world’s first luxury crème,” Lauder said.
“In this new role, I hope to revisit the heritage and origin of what makes these products so special, while adding my own personal touch and modern sensibility.
“I’m excited to be part of the next chapter for this incredible beauty franchise.”
Justin Boxford, Global Brand President, Estée Lauder, added: “Aerin has an innate understanding of the luxury consumer.
“We are thrilled she will be lending her creative vision, talent, and aspirational sensibility to Re-Nutriv, and look forward to bringing her tremendous luxury business experience to evolve the expression of Re-Nutriv, while maintaining the rich heritage and strong brand equity established by her grandmother.”
Over the recent holiday season, Estée Lauder has partnered with China Duty Free Group to host a Starlight Rendezvous VIP event in Hainan, showcasing the Re-Nutriv franchise.
