Alberto Camerlengo is the new CEO at the Furla Group

Alberto Camerlengo has unanimously been appointed by the Furla Group Board of directors as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
A graduate in Economics from the Bocconi University of Milan, the company says that Camerlengo (52) already has ‘a solid career’ under his belt in the luxury goods sector, alongside strong retail experience.
After working and gaining ‘considerable experience in the US, Camerlengo was then appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer at Fossil Italy and from 2004 to 2011 he held the post of Chief Executive Officer in Brooks Brothers Europe.
‘STRONG SIGN OF CONTINUITY’
Thereafter he joined Furla in 2011 as General Manager where he is said to have contributed to the growth of the business and heightening the brand’s awareness.
Commenting on the promotion, the President of the Furla Group Giovanna Furlanetto, said: “The appointment of Alberto Camerlengo is a strong sign of continuity and represents the company’s will to continue its current path of growth and development.
“We trust Alberto will continue to pursue the group’s future projects with commitment and passion.”
