Premium drinks firm Drinksology Kirker Greer (DKG) has appointed Ali Pickering to the role of Chief Marketing Officer, completing its new executive team line-up.
In July, the company named Ryan McFarland Chief Commercial & Strategy Officer. It is also poised to invest in a new seven-person sales team, as part of its ambition to increase its brand presence and awareness in global travel retail – described as a “critical channel” for the DKG brand portfolio.
Pickering brings over two decades of marketing experience to the DKG team. A former Marketing Director at Molson Coors, she brings a wealth of strategic and brand-building expertise to her new role, having worked with some of the most iconic beer and cider brands across more than 50 markets worldwide.
Pickering noted: “I am truly excited to join the DKG family as the Chief Marketing Officer. DKG has assembled an Executive Team comprising industry experts, each bringing their unique talents to the table. Together with Steven Pattison, Richard Ryan, Donal McAteer and Ryan McFarland, we are well positioned to drive DKG’s strategic direction and growth strategy.”
She added: “My primary focus lies in marketing, where our main objective is to build our exciting portfolio of distinctive brands, through strategic brand development, effective implementation of marketing communication strategies, and delivering exceptional brand experiences.
“We have already put together clear brand, market and people prioritisation models, which will enable us to build our brands across our focus markets and global travel retail.”
