Anniversary drum roll for Butlers as it aims to tantalise tastebuds in Cannes

By Luke Barras-hill |

Irish chocolatier Butlers Chocolates returns to this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference (2-6 October) with an array of fresh product assortments.

Butlers has extended its alliance with Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin via Drumshanbo with Sardinian Citrus, which contains 12 oriental botanicals, gunpowder tea and a hint of Sardinian Citrus married with Butlers milk and white chocolate.

The premium range features an eight-piece milk chocolate truffle gift box, a 40% milk chocolate bar and a 75g bar with a lemon truffle centre.

To cater to self-treating demands, Butlers will unveil four new flavours as an addition to the Tasty Pieces snacking range: classic 70% dark chocolate mint truffle discs, milk chocolate almond & coconut pieces, chewy caramels in creamy milk chocolate, and salted dark chocolate.

The range, which uses sustainably sourced cocoa with natural ingredients and flavourings and no palm oil, is presented in resealable, recyclable packaging.

Celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, the family owned firm is present in more than 50 airports globally and recognised for its eponymous café retail concept.

Meanwhile, visitors to Butlers’ stand will encounter the four-strong Butlers Protein+ Chocolate collection, described as a ‘perfectly indulgent dark chocolate protein enriched treat to keep you satisfied for longer, without compromising on taste’.

The varieties are Dark Chocolate Truffle, Coconut Truffle, Raspberry, Orange and Salt Caramels.

Supporting the new skus is Butlers’ new on-pack iconography with an aesthetically appealing colour palette drawing on contemporary symbols to communicate the product attributes in a clear, simple manner while creating shelf standout.

Butlers can be found at H50, Green Village.
