Associate Sponsors show support for TR Consumer Forum in Amsterdam
By Faye Bartle |

Participation in the fifth edition of the TR Consumer Forum in Amsterdam is accelerating with a fresh wave of delegates – you can save £200 off tickets until 16 May – and sponsors demonstrating strong support for the consumer-centric conference.
Ritter Sport and Blackjack are Associate Sponsors for the event, which is taking place at the Amsterdam Congress Center at Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West from 2-4 June.
“We’re proud to be an Associate Sponsor of this year’s TR Consumer Forum,” said Kerstin Krueger, Marketing Manager Global Travel Retail, Ritter Sport.
“Understanding the evolving needs of today’s travel retail consumer is essential, and this event offers valuable insights that help shape future strategies.
“It’s also a pleasure to share a little joy with delegates – quite literally – with a taste of our delicious Ritter Sport chocolate in the gift bags.”
From Blackjack’s side, Leanne Nutter, Retail & Brand Director is stepping onto the stage on Tuesday 3 June to take part in the panel session titled ‘Boosting Cultural IQ to Drive Conversion’ alongside speakers Trevor Lee, Managing Director, TravConsult; Julie Foley, Head of Global Retail Excellence, Pernod Ricard GTR; and Marcus Spahn, General Manager Commercial Non-Aero, Matarat. The session will be moderated a well-known industry executive who is passionate about inclusivity: Michael Barrett, Events & Public Relations Director, m1nd-set.

“Bringing people, corporations and ideas together has never been more valuable,” said Nutter.
“Against a backdrop of ever-increasing pace of change, events like the TR Consumer Forum are critical in uniting the sector to share insights, experiences and ideas as well as allowing us to connect over common challenges.
“Blackjack Promotions has proudly sponsored the TR Consumer Forum since its inception in 2021, and we recognise it as a pivotal event in the duty-free and travel retail industry calendar.”

A number of Blackjack Promotions team members will be attending the event next month and are looking forward to connecting with peers familiar and new.
“We are always interested by the showcase of products and services and will be keen to talk to anyone who is interested in working with us in the UK and Ireland,” elaborated Nutter.
Having a deep understanding of evolving consumer needs plays an important role in the success of Blackjack’s business in travel retail.
As Nutter explained: “We create experiences, and it’s vital that we stay informed and agile, allowing us to tailor our services and the experiences we create, to meet passenger needs and preferences, which we know are changing.
“We must adapt quickly to market trends, and create engaging, relevant experiences, like immersive AR brand interactions for example.
“Likewise, understanding the consumer landscape is crucial for us to be able to refine training and team briefings, ensuring team members can effectively address customer needs and overcome barriers to purchase.”
