Twelve different styles of Palm Pals are available from this month. These are Slomo Sloth, Hedgie Hedgehog, Safara Giraffe, Betsy Chick, Chilly Penguin, Meow Kitty, Busky Husky, Wooley Lamb, Happy Hamster, Wizard Pig, Ella Bunny, and Sly Fox. All characters are 13 centimetres and retail at €8.95 ($9.89).
Gary Stoner, Travel Retail Manager, Aurora World: “We have received a lot of positive feedback since the announcement of our Green Initiative and we are very excited to be launching the first of many sustainable lines. As climate-change tension continues to rise, it is imperative that we do our bit to help the planet and our new sustainable products can be purchased and joyed 100% guilt-free!”
By the end of the year, all Aurora World products will be using fibre fill made from 100% recycled plastics, cloth labels made from 100% recycled materials and plastic pellets made from recycled plastics. They will also using recyclable hang tags and shipping materials.
In an effort to make a greener world, the company is saving over £3m of recycled plastics, cutting down paper usage by over 30% annually and reducing its carbon footprint.
