QuietOn-Sleep-earplugs-leadFinnish tech startup, QuietOn, will exhibit at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes (Green Village K60) for the first time this year, at which the company will introduce its latest active noise cancelling earplugs to visitors.

QuietOn Ltd. which is based in Oulu, Finland, was established in April 2015. The company says its technology heritage comes from Nokia.

Its ‘Sleep’ earplugs are said to offer a ‘more pleasant travel experience’ and generate the ‘desired silence for a restful sleep’; all at the highest altitudes.

KrisShop on Singapore Airlines will be first to offer the new earplugs inflight in September. QuietOn tells TRBusiness that a previous generation of the product became the airline’s No 1 Best Selling Product.

The device blocks out snoring and other low frequency noises and works effectively in bedrooms, in hotel rooms, or while travelling.

QuietOn is now looking to start selling its Sleep ear plugs in airport duty free shops, on cruise ships and in other travel retail channels. QuietOn Sleep earplugs also make for a ‘suitable corporate gift as it is a travel related wellbeing product unlike any other device currently on the market’, adds the company.

“QuietOn Sleep is 40% smaller than the previous product QuietOn Original, fits pleasantly into the ear and provides high wearing comfort,” says QuietOn.

“With a battery life of 20 hours per charge, the ear plugs ensure both a good night’s sleep – even on long-haul flights – and a relaxed arrival at the airport of destination.

“The device blocks out snoring and other low frequency noises and works effectively in bedrooms, in hotel rooms, or while travelling.

“This special elimination of sounds occurs through the device’s active noise cancelling technology, reducing an unwanted sound by adding another one specifically made to cancel it out.”

The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference will take place from 29 September – 4 October this year.
