Bali Ngurah Rai Airport extends Dufry’s duty free contract for a further six years

Dufry Group has sealed a six-year concession extension at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali.

The contract covers duty free shops in the international departure and arrival zones.

As part of the lease agreement, Dufry will increase its retail space to more than 1,400sq m.

The total sales area will lift to 3,600sq m and permit the addition of fashion and accessories as new categories.

The travel retailer, which has been operating at the airport since 2013, will offer walkthrough stores selling a wide array of core duty free items plus a comprehensive assortment of globally renowned fashion and accessory brands housed in 20 dedicated units.

These will be complemented by a ‘House of Sarinah’ concept store featuring Indonesian-made and internationally available products sourced from across the country.

Customers will be able to avail of fashion and accessories through Dufry’s partnership with PT Sarinah (Persero), utilising its experience with local Indonesian brands.
