Ben Webb and Charlotte Turner join TRBusiness Board of Directors

Ben-and-Charlotte-leadThe owners of TRBusiness are delighted to announce that Charlotte Turner and Ben Webb will be joining the Board of Directors, effective immediately, adopting new roles of responsibility as Editorial Director and International Sales & Marketing Director, respectively.

 

Turner is a degree-educated journalist with over twelve years of experience in B2B and B2C magazine publishing and joined TRBusiness in 2011 from Frontier magazine where she was Assistant Editor.

 

Before entering travel retail, Turner built a solid foundation in journalism as a writer and International Content Coordinator for Bauer Media and a reporter for Sheengate Publishing.

 

She has a BA in English with Creative Writing and an MA in Creative and Professional Writing. Turner became the Managing Editor at TRBusiness in April 2015.

 

Webb has been working with brands, suppliers and retailers in a busy B2B environment for over 12 years.

Charlotte Turner is TRBusiness Editorial Director.

His sales career to date includes five and a half years at UK-based grocery retail magazine Independent Retail News (IRN) and two and a half years at Frontier magazine.

He joined TRBusiness in May 2011 and quickly progressed to the role of Business Development Manager. In October 2014 he was promoted again to become Commercial Sales Manager.

 

Ben has been instrumental in the founding of The Travel Retail Awards; the first consumer-voted awards in the travel retail channel.

Ben Webb assumes the role of International Sales and Marketing Director.

RAPID EXPANSION PHASE

TRBusiness recently announced the appointments of Michael Barrett in CSR & Events as well as Nicky Lane in Advertising and Business Development, in what has been an exciting expansion phase for the company, including the 2019 consumer-voted Travel Retail Awards, the Travel Retail Question Time series and most recently, the TR Sustainability Forum and TR Plastic Pledge.
