Bitmore is expanding its reach in GTR through partnerships with Blueprint and BORN Nordic
Consumer technology and accessories brand Bitmore has partnered with consulting firm Blueprint and tech distributor BORN Nordic to expand its footprint in GTR across the Nordic region.
Through the collaboration, Bitmore will promote its 35-SKU assortment, including power banks, speakers, earphones and charging devices.
The range is made using environmentally conscious materials, including recycled TPE (a blend of polymers and rubber) and wheat straw materials.
It was recently named joint winner, alongside Dubai Duty Free, of the Sustainability & CSR Award and the MEADFA Conference, held in Bahrain in November 2022.
The initial focus will be the airline market, where Bitmore is already listed with more than 50 airlines.
Over the last 18 months, the brand has also gained traction in ground travel retail, with listings across WHSmith, InMotion, and Dufry’s World Duty Free.
Singapore-based Lead in Travel Retail Founder and CEO Rajiv Malhotra brought the three businesses together.
Copenhagen-based business developer Blueprint has worked with more than 40 companies to win new business in GTR, including Joe & The Juice, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Simply Chocolate and more.
BORN Nordic has worked with more than 80 tech players to expand their presence online and offline, and has itself registered an average of +30% growth year-on-year since it was founded in 2014.
Consumers ‘seek more sustainable products’
“Bitmore is a great addition to the stable of companies we work with, not least because of its commitment to sustainability across its products and practices,” said Thomas Kaneko Henningsen, Blueprint partner.

Blueprint’s Thomas Kaneko Henningsen says consumer interest in sustainability makes Bitmore a great addition to the companies he works with.
“Brands with sustainability at their core have great business development potential in the travel retail channel, as research consistently shows that travellers are seeking out more sustainable products.
“That is evidenced by the strides Bitmore has already made in securing listings with some of the biggest travel retailers in the world. Our job now, alongside our expert associates at BORN Nordic, is to open new doors and help build that footprint in airport retail across the Nordics and beyond.
“With such a diverse range of high-quality, eco-friendly SKUs to represent I anticipate we can uncover many new opportunities for the Bitmore brand and relish the challenge ahead.”
Bitmore CEO Hoj Parmar added: “Working with well-known and respected business development agency Blueprint and tech distributor BORN Nordic is another big step forward in our quest to build our growing eco-friendly tech and accessories brand’s footprint in travel retail.
“I’m very pleased to be working with the Blueprint team, who know the travel retail industry inside out.
“Our advances in the use of eco-friendly materials in Bitmore products and the wider sustainability focus of our company is resonating with retailers across the world and that gives our new partners a strong foundation for finding new avenues of business.
“These are exciting times for Bitmore as we build our footprint in airport retail and bring our expanding product range to an increasingly eco-conscious travelling consumer.”
At the 2022 TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, Bitmore unveiled the Snoooza neck pillow, made from either recycled memory foam or recycled ABS beads, and produced in a way that is entirely carbon neutral.
