By Charlotte Turner |

Travel-Retail-Awards-2019-logo-lead-2The wait is over and TRBusiness together with m1nd-set are delighted to announce the finalists for the 2019 Travel Retail Awards; the only consumer-voted awards dedicated to the duty free & travel retail industry.

A full list of 2019 finalists can be found on the dedicated Travel Retail Awards website. Please click here to view the finalists.

This year, we received a huge number of entries and only those that reached a critical benchmark high-score for their category were selected by our data partner m1nd-set to become a finalist.

Finalists will receive an email soon containing a high-resolution ‘Voted by Shoppers’ finalists logo which they can immediately display on all promotional materials.

The logo has become a badge of honour for last year’s finalists (and winners), who have told TRBusiness just how much it has benefitted them.

They revealed the tangible benefits – and sales growth – they have achieved as a result of their success in the Travel Retail Awards.

Desigual told TRBusiness recently that its ‘incredible award’ helped them enormously in the last year.

“The sales results also confirm how well-received the product has been,” adds Desigual, which says it is using the winners logo for the product’s listing within inflight magazines, allowing it to stand out from its competitors.

Francis Ng, General Manager, Toscow told TRBusiness why the initiative has been so invaluable to the company in the last year.

“With the introduction of the Travel Retail Award logo on our inflight listings page, we experienced more than 15% increase in sales as compared with previous months.

“We also put the logo on all our social media and this generated a lot of interest from both our corporate clients as well as general consumers.”

TRBusiness and m1nd-set can reveal that 22% of consumers would be influenced to purchase a product in duty free & travel retail stores upon seeing its Travel Retail Awards ‘Voted by Shoppers’ Finalists logo. Click here to read more.

FEEDBACK GUARANTEED

Entrants will be issued with concrete feedback on their respective submissions to fine tune and improve future commercial activities.

This feeds into TRBusiness’ and m1nd-set’s commitment to recognising novelty, ingenuity and the often trailblazing work undertaken by suppliers and airports in travel retail.

This feedback, together with the advertised ‘Voted by Shoppers’ logo, aims to set a new benchmark in travel retail innovation that not only recognises achievements within the industry, but also promotes those achievements to a wider B2C audience.
