BRIC’S opens door at Milan Airport

Luxury luggage brand BRIC’S has confirmed the opening of three new storefronts in three countries over the last six months, including one landside at Milan Malpensa Airport.

 

 

The new outlet launches are consistent with the 62 year old Italian travel bag and fine leather goods manufacturer’s strategy to expand its retail brand globally. The three new doors have been positioned in prestigious, high-end locations in line with BRIC’S premium positioning within the luggage category.

 

The decision to open a store on the International concourse at Milan Malpensa Airport is a deliberate ruse to attract travellers heading for Middle Eastern and Asian departures – two destinations where the brand is experiencing healthy growth. The brand’s heritage also lies in Milan, extending a ‘sense of place’ element to the airport store.

 

Outside of travel retail, the brand has opted to locate in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles – one of the best known luxury retail addresses in the world – and to open a second store in Dubai at the luxury retail mecca, Dubai Festival City Mall.
