Brown-Forman to begin full GTR Baccarat Edition roll-out

The Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition was launched last year at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.

Brown-Forman is to begin the full GTR roll-out of its Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition, which was launched last year in Cannes.

The travel retail exclusive offering is expected to be available in duty free stores by May, retailing at $1,500. Its status as one of the world’s finest bourbon’s is emphasised by the fact it has been further aged in hand-selected XO cognac casks at the brand’s distillery in Versailles, Kentucky.

Marshall Farrer, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Brown-Forman Travel Retail said the Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition would be in high demand among today’s international travellers. He also praised it for combining the tradition of classic French elegance and American spirit.

“We are launching this luxury product in travel retail because sophisticated consumers are seeking premium brands. Woodford Reserve leads the super-premium category globally,” Farrer said.

Initially, the Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition will appear ‘in the most prestigious’ duty free retail stores. Additional promotional activities will take place in various travel retail locations worldwide in the coming weeks and months.

The Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition is available in a Baccarat decanter design that is engraved with the Woodford Reserve and Baccarat logos. It is presented in a signature Baccarat red box with  multi-dimensional doors that rotate upon opening. It also includes a Baccarat stopper adorned with Woodford Reserve’s initials.
