Brown-Forman’s new recruits

With immediate effect, Brown-Forman Duty Free has announced three new key appointments to its duty free/travel retail team covering The Americas and Western Europe and Africa regions, as well as finance.

Pierre-Hubert Plessis has been named Brown-Forman Duty Free Territory Manager for the United States, Mexico and Caribbean. He will be responsible for the Brown-Forman Travel Retail portfolio, reporting to Monte Wilson, Director Americas Duty Free and will be based in Miami, Florida.

Plessis holds an MBA from the University of North Florida and a BA in International Business from the ESC Rennes Business School in France. Prior to joining Brown-Forman, Plessis was with Actium LLC of Miami where he was an account executive representing L’Oréal Paris in the Caribbean Travel Retail Division.

At the same time, Suanna Leslie has been named Finance Manager, Global Travel Retail based in Louisville, Kentucky, Reporting to Jim Perry, Managing Director Brown-Forman Travel Retail, Leslie is a CPA and had previously served at Brown-Forman as a Senior Financial Anayst. She received her BA in Accounting and Finance – as well as her Master’s Degree in Business – from the University of Louisville. 

In addition, Hannah Lyons has been named Trade Marketing Manager Travel Retail for the Western Europe/Africa regions. She was formerly Brown-Forman’s Area Sales Manager for the South of England specializing in American Whiskies. She will be based in London and report to Tim Young, Director Global Travel Retail Trade Marketing.
