Cabeau’s pre-sale campaign for Track & Shield launches on Indiegogo platform

By Charlotte Turner |

Track-&-Shield-1Cabeau CEO, David Sternlight has told TRBusiness that the company recently launched (29 May) the pre-sale campaign for its new Track & Shield device on crowd-funding platform Indiegogo after holding a high profile unveiling event in March this year.

As reported, the travel accessories company officially launched its Track & Shield smart lock, on 22 March, in Los Angeles, during a cruise on the Just Dreamin’ yacht.

During the launch event, Cabeau also introduced various new appointments. These included Alex Vorissis, Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer, Paola Fernandez Cintora, Vice President Global Sales and Susannah Kim, Vice President of Global Marketing.

“Indiegogo has built a reputation for allowing new technologies and innovations to reach early adopters and raise awareness through its platform,” said Sternlight.

REWARDING EARLY SUPPORT

By launching on Indiegogo, consumers also have the opportunity to purchase the device at a discounted rate for their early support.

Cabeau launched its pre-sale campaign with Indiegogo on 29 May.

“Indiegogo’s platform was the perfect platform for our pre-sale launch to allow us to accomplish [our] goals,” added Sternlight.

“It gives us the opportunity to build relationships with these consumers and allow them to secure one of the first Track & Shield units, which will start shipping later this year.”

Track & Shield was created with patented and patent-pending GPS lock technology so consumers and their belongings will never be at risk.

It is believed to be the only device that provides real-time global tracking of anyone or anything. Track & Shield also has the ability to send text messages almost anywhere. Geo and time stamps can also be sent each time it is opened.

Narrowband technology has been implemented which dramatically extends texting abilities compared to cellphones. One single charge can also provide battery life for up to four months.

The price of the device is $199 with a service fee of $50 per year or $6.99 per month. This enables use of all functions through an Apple app or Android smartphone app.
