Chivas marketing appointments
By Administrator |
Chivas Brothers, the Scotch whisky and premium gin business of Pernod Ricard, has made a number of marketing appointments. This follows the acquisition of Allied Domecq, in which Beefeater Gin was added to the Chivas
Brothers portfolio.
Peter Moore will be responsible for the new Ballantine's brand team with immediate effect looking after Ballantine's Finest and Ballantine's 12. He will report to Chivas Brothers International Marketing Director Martin Riley.
The Ballantine's brand team, reporting to Moore, also comprises Jane Yelloly and Cristina Carmueja. Yelloly has been appointed to the position of Senior Brand Manager. She has several years of experience in the drinks industry most recently as Marketing Manager for Plymouth Gin. Carmueja has joined as Brand Manager from Unilever, where she held the position of Brand Manager for Persil.
Ballantine's Super Premium brand team has also been reinforced with the appointment of Simon Burley as Marketing Manager and Ellenore Sambrook as Senior Brand Manager. Both Burley and Sambrook will report to Sophie Gallois, Brand Director for the Chivas Brothers Super Premium Brands, who has recently taken on Ballantine's 17, 21 and 30yo in addition to Chivas Regal 18yo and the Royal Salute range.
The Ballantine's Super Premium team will work alongside the Ballantine's Finest and Ballantine's 12yo brand team led by Brand Director Peter Moore, to ensure consistency in managing the world's number three Scotch whisky brand with annual sales of 5.9m nine-litre cases.
At the same time, Nick Blacknell has been recruited to the position of Brand Director for Beefeater and will be joined by Eleanor Barker as Marketing Manager and Jo Smith as Brand Manager.
