Parfums Christian Dior has announced several new launches in fragrances and make up, plus two exclusive travel retail offers which will all be launched over the coming months.

In fragrances it is launching Escale ? Pondich?ry, while in the make up segment it is unveiling Dior Addict Lip Polish; Diorskin Nude; and Fall Look 2009. The travel retail exclusive offers include the Dior Cannage Collection Makeup Palette and the Hydra Life 3-Step Beauty Ritual.

Escale ? Pondich?ry launches in the US this month and in Asia and Japan in August. The brand made its debut in Europe and the Oceania region last month.

The company said: ‘Initiated by Fran?ois Demachy with voyages in the Mediterranean and Portofino, the ‘Escales de Dior’ collection continues its journey. Today, the Orient glides by on an exotic passage to India. The former trading post of the French East India Company, Pondicherry is the new destination for Parfums Christian Dior.’

The beauty company says the spirit of these new fragrances is expressed through the link between the raw materials and the chosen destinations, true sources of inspiration and lands of culture.

It says that the Les Escales de Dior Collection now comprises Escale ? Portofino (limited edition in 2008 for Asia Pacific travel retail, on-going for the other regions) which it calls 'an invitation for travel to Italy, in the land of the Garden of the Hesperides.' In addition, Escale ? Pondich?ry is described as 'a new invitation for travel on the passage to India, perfumed with teatime memories.

The company says that the recommended prices for the 75ml edt spray are $57 in the US; E.51 in Europe and $65 for Asia, or Y.6,500 for Japan. The 125ml edt spray recommended prices are $76 in the US and E.72.99 in Europe and this version is not being launched in Asia, Japan or Oceania.

The company is also launching Dior Addict lip polish in Asia and Japan this month, following the launch in the rest of the world last month. The recommended prices are $28 for the US; $26 for Asia; E.23,69 for Europe; and Y.2,800 for Japan.

In addition it is also unveiling Fall Look 2009 with a worldwide launch next month and a travel retail specific visual – except for Asia/Japan. This takes its inspiration from the icons of Hollywood studios and the figureheads of the Jazz age in the 1930s. A key shade for the Fall 2009 make up look is purple and at the heart of the collection is the Dior star product Jazzclub which features different colour lipsticks in the range for Asia/Japan and the rest of the world. The price of a Dior Jazzclub clutch make-up palette is E.51 for Europe; $60 for the US; $59 for Asia; and Y.6,000 for Japan.

Meanwhile Dior Nude Natural Glow Fresh Powder Makeup is being launched in two shades at recommended prices of $41 and Y.4,100. At the same time, Natural Glow Hydrating makeup Fluid SPF 10 comes in four shades at recommended retail prices of $41 for the US and Y.4,100. These products are being launched next month in Asia/Japan after being launched in the rest of the world earlier this year.

Moving on to its travel retail exclusive offers, Dior is launching these this month, after a pre-launch aimed exclusively at inflight duty free which began in April. These comprise a Dior Cannage Collection Makeup Palette which is inspired by Christian Dior's signature Dior Cannage handbags. The palette includes: Forever Compact Foundation; Dior Blush; six eye shadows; Mini Rouge Dior; Mascara Diorshow Blac; Powder Houpette; a Blush Brush; and a double-ended applicator.

The recommended price for the US and Asia is $78; for Europe E.65; and Japan Y.8,200.

Last, but not least, is the launch of the Hydra Life 3-Step Beauty Ritual. This is Dior's new 3-step routine to promote youthful moisturization and it has been an Asia/Japan exclusive.

The pouch includes: Hydra Life Essence in Lotion 50ml, Hydra Life Essence in Creme 50ml, and Hydra Life Eye Creme 15ml. The recommended price is $99 for Asia and Y.10,400 for Japan and the worldwide launch is set to take place this month.
