Christophe Balaÿ joins AdVini to build travel retail presence

Balaÿ’s appointment follows a decision to pursue new contracts in travel retail with a special focus on the Americas and Asia.
French winemaker AdVini has appointed Christophe Balaÿ as its new Commercial Manager Travel Retail, effective 1 October.
His responsibilities will includes sales and new business development with duty free and travel retail operators, suppliers, airlines, cruise lines and ferries.
He will work closely with AdVini’s existing commercial teams in France and abroad.
The experienced travel retail senior executive has held similar positions with other firms in the industry, including in perfumes & cosmetics and wines & spirits.
AdVini considers global travel retail as a ‘key pillar’ in growing its reach as a leader in French terroir wines.
‘Travel retail is considered as a fundamental channel in order to drive sales development but also to recruit new consumers and build premium image for its priority brands,’ says the company.
Balaÿ will attend next week’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference and can be found at stand 13, Bay Village.
