Confectionery supplier Cloetta Global Travel Retail (GTR) has launched a new innovation, Red Band Real Fruit Candy containing 50% fruit.
It has already won a confirmed listed with its partner Dufry, with further listings ‘imminent’, according to the company.
Red Band Real Fruit Candy has been born to meet the needs of consumers who are ‘increasingly looking for products with more natural ingredients’.
It was developed in close collaboration with consumers ‘to ensure the best result’.
The sweets contain 50% fruit, are vegan and feature natural colours and flavours.
Using fruit from purée and fruit juices gives it a ‘fresh’ taste with a ‘naturally juicy bite’, all while ‘maintaining a candy-like texture’, says Cloetta GTR.
Red Band Real Fruit comes in two options: Fruit & Berries and Fruit & Citrus.
There are six flavours in each 200g standing pouch, and each diamond-shaped candy has an illustration that reflects its corresponding fruit flavour.
The product has been launched across markets under the company’s existing local candy brand portfolio and is available to order now in travel retail.
