Coccinelle A/W 2014/15 collection hits travel retail

Inspired by a ‘Classic Revolution’ theme, Coccinelle’s new Autumn Winter 2014/15 collection is now hitting travel retail stores worldwide.


The new collection is described by the brand as ‘modern, updated yet timeless with a touch of glamour and marks the evolution of an informal chic style with vintage variations, which re-codify the product with a modern twist.’


Functional, versatile and lightweight shapes such as messenger bags are always in demand in the travel retail segment and this season the shape renews its original city wear concept with a more structured and well-defined character.


Shopping bags, another TR best-seller, are the stars of the collection: easy and lightweight with wide volumes and elegant detailing, while the Mini bags travel from day to night, ideal for a day of shopping or a cocktail party.


This time Coccinelle also launches the backpack – no longer the preserve of school kids or skater boys – this version has graduated into a must-have accessory, especially the new gold leather luxe design.



A closer look at the collection reveals a focus on fine-detailing: satin-finish gold metalwork, elegant buckles and décor snap closures.


Materials range from modern pony-skin to rich python print leather and trendy animal prints, while the A/W colour palette is largely discreet playing with natural earth tones of cream, powder grey, light beige, military greens, sepia and grape, but with fashion shades of orange, peacock blue and soft metals creeping in.
