Coccinelle’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection spans kaleidoscope colours and sustainability.

The Coccinelle Spring/Summer 2024 collections will be showcased in Cannes during the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, including the dreamlike-’Kaleidoscope’ and sustainable ‘Roundabout’ lines.

In addition, the brand will launch a travel retail exclusive capsule collection. The unisex offering is made from soft, grainy leather.

Products include a backpack, a medium-size duffel, a bum bag, a double compartment mini bag, a passport holder and two luggage tags, all available in three colourways.

Coccinelle says it “strongly believes” in the travel retail channel and is “focused to strengthen and expand the brand internationally.”

With its palette of sun-inspired colours, the Kaleidoscope collection brings together brightness and pastel hues with “the freedom of joy”.

Central to the collection is Coccinelle Dew, described as boxy and structured, but “graceful in its round shapes”. It is designed to be worn daily or to more formal events.

Also new is the Coccinelle Snuggie, a light, soft, unstructured and unlined leather bag. The plectrum shape has been reworked into a larger, asymmetrical style to be worn cross-body.

Meanwhile the Coccinelle Magie symbolises the brand’s continuity. Distinctive elements include the front twist, with rings at the side that are an evolution of the plecturm.

Coccinelle Spring/Summer 2024: Sustainability central

The coming season also brings a renewed focus on sustainability. For the first time, Coccinelle has developed a bio-based leather, organic and 88% recycled material, which runs across its Roundabout line.

Coccinelle shoes: ‘Elegant and classy’

Following the recent footwear launch, Coccinelle is doubling down on footwear efforts for Spring/Summer 2024. The range features summer sandals, heeled shoes and activewear sneakers.

Coccinelle Beat Selleria references the plectrum across the brand, and also features a clasp shape and tassel detailing.

Described as ‘elegant’ and ‘classy’, the range spans loafers and sandals, both flat and heeled.

Meanwhile the Coccinelle Himma Smooth line, described as “elegant, versatile and comfortable”, offers pumps in different heel heights.

Finally, the Coccinelle Monogram Perforee, a sneaker with an array of colour offerings.

“Very positive results have been accomplished for Coccinelle Travel Retail in the first semester of 2023, with a double-digit growth driven by traffic recovery and stable increase in terms of turnover for comparable stores,” said Giada Cappelletti, Head of International Markets & Global Travel Retail.

“During the first six months we opened in Bologna International Airport, Düsseldorf International Airport, Vienna International Airport Main Plaza and Dalaman International Airport, but new doors and cruise ships will be launched within the end of the year and many others have already been finalised for the next year.”

Back in September, Coccinelle unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2023 campaign with the theme #MyOwnStory.
