The Cotswolds Distillery has named Lynsey Eades as International Sales and Global Travel Retail Director as it embarks on an overseas expansion drive.

Eades will use her extensive commercial experience in global travel retail, where she has worked with the likes of Mars, Rémy Cointreau, Valrhona and Godiva, to scale up Cotswolds Distillery’s international sales while expanding its brand visibility and presence outside the UK.

“Lynsey has joined with extensive travel experience and will be a huge addition to the team,” said Distillery Founder Daniel Szor. “We look forward to expanding our global presence in travel retail.”

Cotswolds Distillery produces single malt whiskies – the flagship Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky was launched in October 2017 – alongside gin and a range of small batch spirits and liqueurs.

The appointment of Eades follows an announcement to expand the company’s distillery operations at its site near Shipston-on-Stour in the North Cotswolds. This will be commissioned over the summer.

By expanding the distillery, the company says it will become the largest producer of English whisky at an eventual 500,000 litres of pure alcohol per year [see gallery below].
