Coty launches Marc Jacobs Perfect Elixir fragrance into travel retail

Coty Marc Jacobs Perfect Elixir

Perfect Elixir is making its GTR debut this month.

Coty has unveiled Perfect Elixir, the latest fragrance from designer Marc Jacobs. It is being introduced this month to travel retail doors in Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific.

The fragrance concept centres around self-confidence and self-love, building on the ‘I am perfect as I am’ positioning of its predecessor, Perfect Marc Jacobs.

Created by IFF’s Domitille Michalon-Bertier, Perfect Elixir is described as a warm and opulent evolution of the original Eau de Parfum. The juice opens on top notes of purple rhubarb, giving way to a heart of golden amber woods, atop a base of vanilla bean extract.

The fragrance flacon was inspired by the designer’s love of combining everyday elements to create something charming and new. The lilac juice matches the lilac outer carton, which incorporates the original illustration of the Perfect bottle, by New York-based artist Jacky Blue.

The fragrance campaign, shot by Juergen Teller, is centred around self-confidence and self-love.

The Perfect Elixir bottle cap combines a selection of charms chosen by Jacobs to inject a touch of his signature irreverent style into the design.

Shot by Juergen Teller, and featuring a diverse cast of new talents, the fragrance campaign uses striking visuals to revitalise and reinforce the ‘Perfect as I am’ message.
