Jardin d’Égypte is the third chapter of the Chloé Nomade collection.

Coty Travel Retail has unveiled a new feminine fragrance from the house of Chloé.

Following on from Nuit d’Égypte and Lumière d’Égypte, the third chapter of the Chloé Nomade collection is Jardin d’Égypte. It is rolling out now in European travel retail doors, and will be launched in Asia Pacific locations from March.

The Nomade line aims to evoke the free-spirited spontaneity of the Chloé woman, according to the brand. Described as an invitation to travel and look outward, the collection represents an olfactory journey where each scent pledges to transport, “imbued with the promise of unforgettable encounters and long-lasting memories”.

The new Jardin d’Égypte eau de parfum pays tribute to the emblematic papyrus, the native aquatic plant that flourishes in the Nile Delta.

Sacred to the ancient Egyptians, the papyrus represents eternal life and renewal. It is expressed through vibrant green notes that blend with the earthy, heady aromas of kyphi, a compound incense and one of the earliest known fragrances.

Ancient formulas for kyphi were discovered in the Temple of Horus in Edfu and in the Temple of Hathor in Dendera. It has been reinterpreted by perfumers as the essential ingredient in the Egypt-inspired Nomade line.

The new eau de parfum pays tribute to the emblematic papyrus, the native aquatic plant that flourishes in the Nile Delta.

For Jardin d’Égypte, perfumer Caroline Dumur has composed an intense, vibrant green scent. The juice opens with notes of cassie flower, papyrus, sun-dried dates and a fig accord, to impart ripeness and warmth.

The kyphi accord heart – the signature essence of the collection – blends spiced cinnamon bark with the richness of sandalwood and resinous myrrh. The base features a bespoke Solarwood accord, incorporating sandalwood oil and ambrette absolute.

Nomade Jardin d’Égypte is presented in a reworked interpretation of the line’s flacon, now adorned with a green ribbon that echoes the greenery of the campaign imagery.
