Covid-19: Heartening performance from DDF ‘Nightingales’ raises spirits

DDF-Nightingales-2020A heartfelt rendition of US singer-songwriter Josh Groban’s ‘You Raise Me Up’ has travel retail on its feet as Dubai Duty Free recognises those working tirelessly in the face of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic [see below video].

DDF’s self-styled ‘Nightingales’ pay tribute to the global travel retail industry, Dubai Duty Free management, colleagues, friends, family and all those working at the frontline to combat the virus.

Formed in 2014, the Dubai Duty Free ‘Nightingales’ are full-time DDF employees from different departments.

Over the past six years, the ensemble has received a number of accolades including ‘Best Corporate Choir’ on three occasions, together with ‘Most Dynamic Choir’ and ‘Best A Cappella Performance’.
