DFS and Jack Daniel’s craft destination-themed whiskies

Brown-Forman Global Travel Retail and DFS Group have partnered to curate a series of travel retail exclusive Tennessee whiskies for the retailer’s top international airport locations.
City-specific bottlings from The DFS Jack Daniel’s Collection (1 litre), which contains Jack Daniel’s 100 proof Traveler’s Exclusive Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey, will feature at DFS Group’s wines and spirits stores in Singapore (SIN), New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO) and Honolulu (HNL) from 1 September.
Each bespoke bottling comes in a custom labelled gift box adorned with special medallions displaying quotes or witticisms associated with Jack Daniel’s.
JFK, SFO and HNL will take approximately 240 of the 750 ml bottles, while SIN and LAX will have considerably more.
The new range combines the knowledge of Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Jeff Arnett and DFS Group’s wines and spirits merchandising team.
In a first-of-a-kind partnership, both parties worked closely together at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee to create individual barrels that reflect the spirit and personality of each city.
Brooke Supernaw, DFS Group’s Senior Vice President Wines, Spirits, Tobacco, Food and Gifts said: “It’s been a pleasure to partner with Jack Daniel’s and Jeff Arnett to craft something truly local for our customers.
“Here at DFS, we believe there is no better way to communicate your journey than to take home the taste of one of your favourite destinations. We look forward to delighting customers with this unique take on curating a whiskey assortment and hope they join us on the journey to discover all five flavours from across the world.”
