Select T Galleria by DFS shops and airports across the globe are merchandising an exclusive Mido watch to commemorate the Swiss watchmaker’s 100th anniversary.

The Mido Commander Big Date features a large, polished and sandblasted date aperture on the timepiece’s fascia and benefits from Mido’s flagship automatic movement, the Caliber 80, which last for 80 hours.

CommGIFTING VALUE

DFS calls the watch a ‘timeless and versatile exclusive’, ideal for men seeking something ‘high performing, yet sleekly elegant’.

Christophe Chaix, Senior Vice President Fashion, Watches, Jewelry and Accessories, DFS Group said: “DFS is honoured to celebrate Mido’s 100th anniversary with this exceptional watch, and to be chosen as their official travel retail partner to commemorate such a special occasion.

“At DFS, we continually seek to offer our travelling customers newness and innovation, and The Commander Big Date is a perfect example of this commitment.”

SPECIAL EXHIBITIONS

During March and April, shoppers can discover the new watch via a specially curated exhibition where they can interact with Mido mascot ‘Robi the Robot’ through DFS x Mido photo booths.

They can also explore historical versions and current bestsellers from Mido.

The special exhibitions take place at the following T Galleria by DFS locations: Macau City of Dreams, Shoppes at Four Seasons and DFS Singapore Scottswalk.

Additional smaller pop-ups will be highlighted in T Galleria outlets at Hong Kong Canton Road, Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui East and Fondaco dei Tedeschi in Venice.
