Dr Dirk Schneider will leave Gebr. Heinemann after three years to pursue new challenges.
Gebr. Heinemann Chief Commercial Officer Dr Dirk Schneider is to leave the company at the end of June to take on new challenges.
Co-CEO Raoul Spanger will assume responsibilities for the CCO function until a successor is named.
Schneider joined the Hamburg-headquartered firm in 2020, taking over the CCO mantle following the retirement of Kay Spanger and responsible for purchasing, marketing, supply chain and commercial effectiveness.
Supervisory Board Member and Co-Owner Claus Heinemann said: “We respect that Dirk has decided to leave us and thank him for the collaboration and his strong impact. We wish him good luck and success both privately and professionally.”
Schneider added: “I am very pleased about the big steps we have taken together, from mastering a tough crisis until the strategic clarity for new growth. We were able to break new grounds for Heinemann in many areas, especially with regard to a customer centric and data-driven mindset. Taking this decision was not easy for me, as Gebr. Heinemann is an extraordinary company with a real heart and soul.”
