Luxury goods maison Richemont Group has appointed Dr Bérangère Ruchat as Chief Sustainability Officer.

Ruchat joins from fellow Switzerland-based firm Firmenich Group, where she held the same position and more recently was Senior Vice President Sustainability.

“Dr Bérangère Ruchat will bring her deep sustainability expertise and collaborative track record to further develop the Group’s vision and step up its sustainability ambition,” Richemont Group said in a statement.

During her 12 years at Firmenich she was responsible for forging strong partnerships as a means of driving the Group’s sustainability strategy and ESG reporting.
