By Luke Barras-hill |

The Duty Free World Council (DFWC) Academy is enticing industry and non-industry professionals to enrol for the Certificate in Duty Free and Travel Retail with a 10% discount on the US$695 pre-registration fee.

To avail of the special pre-registration offer, those interested can follow the link here, apply the promotional code DFWCA10, checkout and enter their details.

On the day the course launches, students will receive information on their e-learning account.

The DFWC Academy was rebooted at the end of 2021 with the announcement of the new Certificate Course in DF&TR after being suspended at the beginning of 2021 when then-partner the Institute of International Retail entered voluntary liquidation.

The Academy Advisory Group (AAG), comprising leading industry retailers Aer Rianta International, Dubai Duty Free and Lagardère Travel Retail, guided the development of the Certificate Course.

Multi-category expertise is provided by Brown-Forman, Duty Free Global, Imperial Brands, Lacoste, L’Oréal and Mondelez, with broader observations from TFWA and DFWC and research input from Generation Research, m1nd-set, Pi Insight and ForwardKeys.

Delivered via the ACI World Online Learning Centre, the Certificate Course examines long term and more recent industry developments.
