Exhibitor numbers up +4.7% as TFWA prepares for Cannes
By Luke Barras-hill |
TFWA has announced that a total of 515 exhibiting companies have registered to date (14 September) for this year’s World Exhibition & Conference – an increase of +4.7% year-on-year.
The figures include 61 new or returning exhibitors, which include Piper-Heidsieck Champagne, Cartier Parfumes, Payot Paris, APM Monaco and Pourchet.
Running between 1 to 6 October at the Palais des Festivals, the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference this year debuts the TFWA Digital Village over 840sq m of ‘prime floor space’ at Gare Maritime for three days (4-6 October).
Backed by WiFi sponsor Shiseido, the space allows delegates interested in technology to meet over 30 exhibitors from a range of digital forward-thinking brands and discover how technology can be used in duty free and travel retail.
A TFWA Digital Village’s Ideas Lab workshop, which runs from 09:00am to 10:00am on Friday 6 October, supports the village and offers delegates the chance to debate opportunities created by advances in technology.
Curated by Portland Design, the workshop will feature highlights from the upcoming TFWA research study The Digital Journey.
As has become traditional, TFWA will also host a range of digital tools to enable visitors to make the most out of their time at the event.
These include a new geo-localisation app to identify a delegate’s positioning via a 3D interactive floor plan that can be used to guide them to designated stands, a function to record exhibitors of interest in a visit folder to be accessed on site and the usual TFWA Product Showcase.
Pre-registration is now closed but visitors can register on site at the pavilion in Cannes.
